On 20th of November 2020, the second meeting of the Local Working Group (LWG) in the Bavarian Oberland took place online. 16 participants discussed how to bring forward a heat transition in the region.
Topics presented and discussed contained:
- Results from the survey Perceptions of end consumers, intermediaries and investors in order to give an overview where the heat market stands in the Oberland.
- The estimated exchange potential in the Oberland with the initial situation in the region as well as the scenarios “moderate exchange” and “complete exchange” in the inventory until 2035.
- The joint campaign in the Oberland 2021/2022 with eight measures to motivate end-consumers to exchange their old and inefficient heating systems with sustainable ones.
- The energy summit, planned as a podium providing impulses from an expert-dialogue.
