In 2021 and 2022, 9 different REPLACE activities are taking place in Slovenia, aimed at raising household awareness of the importance of using an environmentally friendly heating system. This not only brings economic savings to the household, but is also more environmentally friendly in terms of lower CO2 and particulate matter (PM) emissions.
As part of the REPLACE project, information points are being set up in the energy advisory offices of the ENSVET network, trainings and presentations of examples of good practice of heating systems replacement are being carried out, as well as webinars for professionals and the general public. One of these will follow on November 4, 2021, when a webinar for households will be held, where the advantages of changing the heating system will be emphasized, as well as the presentation of the online heating replacement calculator.
From April 2021 onwards, the “Change Oil for the Environment” campaign has been running in cooperation with Kronoterm. Through an educational guide and an online heating replacement calculator, the campaign introduces the benefits of replacing old, inefficient heating systems with more environmentally friendly alternatives. Households that will change their old system can actively participate in the campaign and obtain a benefit voucher for the purchase of a heat pump.
