Од ноември 2019 до април 2023 година, REPLACE ги поддржа домаќинствата, но и посредниците, политичарите и инвеститорите во транзицијата од стари и неефикасни системи за греење и ладење кон климатски прифатливи решенија. На крајот од проектот, три извештаи ги сумираат резултатите и можат да послужат како инспирација за сите оние кои се заинтересирани да направат замена на системи за греење кои се еколошки прифатливи. Сите извештаи се достапни на англиски јазик.
Von November 2019 bis April 2023 unterstützte REPLACE Haushalte, aber auch Vermittler*innen, Politiker*innen und Investor*innen beim Umstieg von alten und ineffizienten Heiz- und Kühlsystemen auf klimafreundliche Lösungen. Zum Abschluss des Projekts fassen nun drei Berichte die Ergebnisse zusammen und können als Inspiration für Nachahmer*innen beim klimafreundlichen Austausch dienen. Alle Berichte liegen in englischer Sprache vor.
From November 2019 to April 2023, REPLACE supported households, but also intermediaries, politicians and investors in the transition from old and inefficient heating and cooling systems to climate-friendly solutions. At the end of the project, three reports now summarise the results and can serve as inspiration for imitators in climate-friendly replacements. All reports are available in English.
From November 2019 to April 2023, the EU project REPLACE supported households to replace their old, inefficient heating appliances with modern, clean and climate-friendly heating systems that are more comfortable and resilient. Within the context of the energy and climate crisis, enabling energy systems based on nearby, renewable energy sources – instead of fossil fuels imported from non-democratic states – is highly relevant for free societies.
In addition to the REPLACE conclusions for policy makers to better foster and accelerate the heat transition in Europe, the following documents contain recommendations for action at the political level in individual countries, which the respective project partners consider helpful based on the results of the project.
Towards the end of the REPLACE project, a survey was conducted in Austria to gain a better understanding of the current market situation for household boiler replacements. The survey was carried out as a combination of online and telephone interviews using the same questionnaire. The target group was homeowners who used oil or gas heating systems. The survey was conducted in the federal states of Salzburg, Styria, and Upper Austria. At the beginning of the survey, a screening process was conducted to ensure that the respondents belonged to the population of interest. The proportion of homeowners who use oil or gas heating systems was around 40%, and the remaining 60% were not surveyed. Ultimately, a total of 297 households were surveyed.

Die Umfrage wurde als eine Kombination aus Online- und Telefoninterviews unter Verwendung desselben Fragebogens durchgeführt. Die Zielgruppe waren Hauseigentümer:innen, die Öl- oder Gasheizungen verwenden. Die Umfrage wurde in den Bundesländern Salzburg, Steiermark und Oberösterreich durchgeführt. Zu Beginn der Befragung wurde ein Screening durchgeführt, um sicherzustellen, dass die Befragten der anvisierten Bevölkerungsgruppe angehören. Der Anteil der Hauseigentümer:innen, die Öl- oder Gasheizungen verwenden, lag bei etwa 40 %, die restlichen 60 % wurden nicht befragt. Letztendlich wurden insgesamt 297 Haushalte befragt.

Im Rahmen des REPLACE-Projekts sind zahlreiche Materialien und Maßnahmen entstanden, die Haushalte, aber auch Fachleute und politische Entscheidungsträger bei der klimafreundlichen Heizungsumstellung unterstützen. Wie die Ergebnisse künftig in kompakter Form zur Verfügung gestellt werden sollen war Thema des letzten Projekttreffens am 22. März 2023 in Brüssel.

“In Krisenzeiten die Heizung in Betrieb halten” („Keeping the heat on in times of crisis“) war das Motto der REPLACE-Abschlusskonferenz mit rund 120 Teilnehmer*innen in Brüssel und online am 21. März 2023. Das Projekt hat seit 2019 Haushalte in acht europäischen Ländern dabei unterstützt, ihre ineffizienten Heiz- und Kühlsysteme durch klimafreundliche zu ersetzen. Während seiner Umsetzung war es mit Corona und dann mit der Energiekrise konfrontiert.
Wie Karlis Goldstein vom estnischen Ministerium für Wirtschaft und Kommunikation in seiner Rede bemerkte: “Wir haben nicht erwartet, dass wir uns im aktuellen geopolitischen Kontext und auch in Bezug auf die Energiewende befinden. … wenn wir erst jetzt anfangen würden, über Lösungen nachzudenken, hätten wir ein paar gute Jahre vergeudet. Ich bin dem REPLACE-Projektteam sehr dankbar für seine Bemühungen. Und es ist in der Tat an der Zeit, einen Blick auf die Ergebnisse ihrer Arbeit zu werfen.“
Keeping the heat on in times of crises
“Keeping the heat on in times of crisis” was the motto of the REPLACE final conference, with around 120 participants in Brussels and online at 21. March 2023. The project has supported households in eight European countries to replace their inefficient heating and cooling systems with climate-friendly ones since 2019. During implementation, it faced first Corona and then the energy crisis.
As Karlis Goldstein from the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications remarked in his key note speech: “We didn’t expect that we would find ourselves in the current context geopolitically and also in terms of the energy transition. … if we would only start now to think about the solutions, then we would have wasted a couple of good years. I’m very grateful for the REPLACE project team for all their effort. And it is indeed timely to look into the results of their work.”
Das REPLACE-Projekt hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Haushalte in acht europäischen Ländern zu motivieren, ihre ineffizienten Heiz- und Kühlsysteme durch klimafreundliche Technologien zu ersetzen. Die drei folgenden Berichte geben einen Überblick über die Maßnahmen, die den Austausch von Heiz- und Kühlsystemen in den REPLACE-Projektregionen unterstützt haben. Nachahmer*innen sind willkommen.
