One of the REPLACE model cases of best practice in Slovenia is the holistic energy renovation of a row house of the Županič family in Ljubljana. As envisaged in the REPLACE project, the family installed a climate-friendly heating system, while at the same time reducing their energy consumption through renovation measures. The house is located in a densely populated area in Ljubljana. And before the actual implementation of the works, the investor went through all the necessary steps as described in the REPLACE handbooks.
In order to replace fossil fuels with renewable energies, the Spanish REPLACE partners EREN and Escan promote the use of biomass in buildings and homes. And to thereby save a particularly large amount of CO2 emissions and support Europe to become climate-neutral by 2050, the REPLACE partners have focused on a particularly rewarding region in Spain.

In the EU-funded heating exchange project REPLACE, Energiewende Oberland, together with the region’s climate protection managers, has designed an award for all those in the Oberland who already heat 100% with renewable energies. It is intended to honour those who are already acting in a climate-friendly way when it comes to heating, and to motivate others to follow suit.
The “100% renewable heating” label is awarded by Energiewende Oberland or the climate protection managers concerned.
Im EU-geförderten Heizungstausch-Projekt REPLACE hat die Energiewende Oberland zusammen mit den Klimaschutzmanager*innen der Region eine Auszeichnung für alle entworfen, die im Oberland bereits zu 100% mit erneuerbaren Energien heizen. Sie soll diejenigen würdigen, die beim Thema Wärme schon klimafreundlich agieren, und andere zum Nachahmen motivieren.
Die Verleihung des Labels „100% erneuerbar Heizen“ erfolgt über die Energiewende Oberland oder die betreffenden Klimaschutzmanager*innen.

Am Samstag, den 11. Juni 2022 lud der Maschinenring Wolfratshausen zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum nach Egling ein, und auch das Heizungstausch-Projekt REPLACE war mit einem eigenen Informationsstand vertreten. Der Verband mit 1.200 Mitgliedern kümmert sich um die maschinelle Seite der Energieholzverarbeitung. Mit solidarischem Gedanken kaufen die Mitglieder des Rings Spezialmaschinen , verwenden sie gemeinsam und unterstützen sich gegenseitig.
Bei der Jubiläumsveranstaltung beriet Andreas Scharli von Energiewende Oberland am REPLACE-Stand Mitglieder des Maschinenrings, die selbst Wärmenetze betreiben. „Leute, die bereits seit 10 oder 15 Jahren Wärmenetze betreiben, werden derzeit von Anfragen überrollt. Kundinnen und Kunden wollen sich unabhängig von importiertem Öl und Gas machen und auf erneuerbare Energien aus der Region umsteigen“, so Energieberater Andreas Scharli. Das Fachpublikum der Veranstaltung unterstützte Scharli mit Informationen zum Ausbau und zum wirtschaftlichen Betrieb ihrer Netze.
Das EU-geförderte Heizungstausch-Projekt REPLACE will Bürgerinnen und Bürger zum Tausch ihrer alten und ineffizienten Heizungen und zum Wechsel hin zu klimafreundlichen Technologien motivieren. Das Projekt richtet sich außerdem an Fachkräfte, die zum Heizungstausch beraten, ihn planen und umsetzen, sowie an öffentliche Behörden und Investor*innen.

On Saturday, 11 June 2022, Maschinenring Wolfratshausen invited guests to Egling to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and the REPLACE heating transition project was also represented with its own info booth. The association with 1,200 members takes care of the machinery side of energy wood processing. With solidarity in mind, the members of the ring buy special machines, use them together and support each other.
At the anniversary event, Andreas Scharli from Energiewende Oberland gave advice at the REPLACE info booth to members of the machinery ring who operate heating networks themselves. “People who have already been operating heating networks for 10 or 15 years are currently overrun with enquiries. Customers want to become independent of imported oil and gas and switch to renewable energies from the region,” says energy consultant Andreas Scharli. Scharli supported the expert audience at the event with information on the expansion and economic operation of their grids.
The EU-funded heating transition project REPLACE aims to motivate citizens to exchange their old and inefficient heating systems and to switch to climate-friendly technologies. The project also targets professionals who advise on, plan and implement heating exchanges, as well as public authorities and investors.

León, 29 junio 2022 – “Los precios de la energía han subido tanto en los últimos dos años como lo hicieron por última vez durante la crisis del petróleo en 1973. Esto plantea problemas a muchos hogares, ya que la calefacción con petróleo, gas natural o carbón, en particular, se ha encarecido”, afirma Ricardo Gonzalez, que coordina el proyecto de la UE REPLACE en Castilla y León (España). Por eso, para escapar de la “trampa del coste de la calefacción”, tiene sentido sustituir los sistemas de calefacción antiguos, ineficientes y en su mayoría perjudiciales para el medio ambiente. “Quienes se calientan con gasóleo, gas natural o carbón no sólo pagan mucho dinero. Estos sistemas de calefacción anticuados también se encuentran entre los más perjudiciales para el medio ambiente de todas las tecnologías disponibles en la calefacción residencial”, continúa Ricardo. Para facilitar el cambio a un nuevo sistema de calefacción respetuoso con el medio, hay dos herramientas online independientes y gratuitas disponibles en español como parte del proyecto de la UE REPLACE.

“Cijene energije su u posljednje dvije godine porasle isto koliko i tokom naftne krize 1973. To predstavlja probleme za mnoga domaćinstva, jer je grijanje na naftu, prirodni plin ili ugalj posebno poskupjelo”, kaže Herbert Tretter, koji koordinira EU projekt REPLACE. Da bi se izbjegla “zamka za troškove grijanja”, zamijeniti stare, neefikasne i uglavnom štetne za okoliš i klimu, sisteme grijanja, itekako ima smisla. „Sistemi grijanja koji koriste lož ulje, prirodni gas ili ugalj, ne samo da troše mnogo novca, već su također, među svim dostupnim tehnologijama za grijanja prostora, oni koji najviše štete okolišu i klimi”, nastavlja Tretter. Kako bi se olakšao prelazak na novi sistem grijanja, koji je manje štetan po okoliš i klimu, dva nezavisna, besplatna internetska alata dostupna su na 9 jezika u sklopu EU projekta REPLACE.
